Philanthropy projects
Until recently, Sid was the Project Coordinator at Columbia University Engineers Without Borders. He led the grantwriting and corporate fundraising effort for a micro hydro power project in Orissa, India. The project was recently awared $25,000 by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Academic projects
Sid is currently thinking about the problem of road traffic fatalities in India.

Sid is currently not working on any design project.
Sid is a co-founder of Peek in India, a company that designs and markets technology products that are relevant to a large number of people, not just the few who are tech savvy.
Earlier, Sid has worked as a management strategy consultant in the New York tri-state area with financial services companies. He has a long standing interest in renewable energy and urban planning, and has been involved with rural electrification using micro-hydro power technology projects in Orissa, India.
Sid is a graduate of Columbia University in New York.
